Welcome back to another summer learning journey task. For this task we got make a summer themed space invader.

 

we had to use this app but sadly i didn’t really now how to use it so i decided to use google sheet because last year i was in love making pixel art on google sheet so i was kinda a pro at it .

 

 

The colours i chose was red , orange and yellow because it the sunset colours . During sunset in summer is so pretty!  Also i noticed during summer there are load of fires there more fires during summer and fires. Did you noticed that?  Sorry i had to add the link! any who here is my creation.

For this task we got to learn about Kuaka a native new Zealand bird.

 

Do you know kuaka mean in English well if you look my slide you learn and also loads of other interesting facts about them. This blog post is actually ” Challenge accepted season 1 episode 2 ” This might not last long because i think summer learning journey will be ending next week Friday on the 20th next week. Welcome back to another summer learning journey task. for the task i am going to show you today is about Alliteration.

 

Do you know what a Alliteration? Well a Alliteration is a sentence that all start with a letter.  In example is ” Betty Blotter Bought Butter ” Can you see something that is common in the sentence. It all starts with the letter B.

It doesn’t have to start with the letter b, it can start with any letter from A-Z. The letter i chose was T. I feel like T is quite hard because there are not a lot of words that with the letter T . I decide to do a poem with a specific topic. The specific topic i chose was tigers.

I chose T because i wanted a challenge. I fell proud that i got to accomplish this challenge. I should start a series called ” challenge accepted ” Well i guess today is season 1 and episode 1. 

 

In my opinion i i think you should try this poem. It is quite fun. You can experiment with some many letters. This might be one of my favourite task yet. here is my Alliteration template. Have a good day.

welcome back to another summer learning journey task. For this task we got learn about homophones. Homophones are words that sound the same but have different meanings.

 

For this task we got a google drawing template. We had to make a vegetable cartoon. The cartoon character body i choose was a pumpkin even though i HATE pumpkins.

 

You must be wondering, how does homophones connect to the pumpkins? Good questions! The answer is that once we made the cartoon character we have to make a speech with one homophones.

I have  Christmas task that i haven’t done so today i decided to do it.  That basic thing is that we had to change some lyrics of a Christmas song. The song i decided to do was jingle bells. Have fun trying to guess the words.
