Welcome back to another SLJ post. For today task i got to design my own under water sea play area. The sea creature i choose are dolphins, sharks , sea urchins , a jellyfish and some fish . I think my favourite park are the shark in the background. I really likes this task because i love sea creatures and the sea. The hard part was figuring out where the put the sea animals so that everything could fit.

Welcome back to another Slj blog post. For today task I got to make a Snakes & Ladders Multiplication game board! Basically I made a copy of a Snacks & Ladders board. In every box i added a multiplication question. On the board there 42 squares so there 41 addition question since box 42 is the winning box. If you lucky you could land in a box with a ladder or you might be unlucky and land on a snake, If you get a question wrong you have to stay on the same box but if you get the question corrects then you may go forward. The first one to square 42 wins! If you win you get to give each player a dare! In my opinion i thing this Snakes & board was faster then the kick start one , If you want you can make a copy of my slides and have a go to play it!

Welcome back to another slj task. The task i did was the groove pizza step up task. For this task we got to make a song and a album cover. My song is called black because the song has a beat but no words so that what makes it blank. Feel free to make your own lyrics for the beat For the album cover i made a copy of the template and i basically kept it kind that same except i changed the font , pictures and the colors of the shape. I’m gonna keep this blog post really short and simple today.

Happy school holidays! This year i have decided that i would like to do the summer learning journey because i get really bored at home and in the previous year the summer learning journey has kept me really entertained. Today task i got to use a new app call groove pizza. We got to create a beat in groove pizza using angles , shapes or a pattern. For my beat i used angles since recently my math class have been working on angles . There were 5 different type of music you got to choose from. The options were Afro – Latin , Hip – Hop , Jazz , Rock and Techno. I chose hip hop but i think techno would have been good too. I really enjoyed this task because it unleashed my creativity with music . Do you think i could had to it?

Welcome back to another blog post . Yesterday I signed up for summer learning journey for 2023 – 2025. Even though next i won’t be coming to hay park i still decided to do it . But i won’t be doing all of the task. Today task is only a teaser . A teaser is a practise round. I already know how this goes since i have done it before . This blogpost is only the kickstarts.
For the kickstart activity we got to make a superhero from ai or you could make one off google drawing. Most poeple picked ai including me . In the description box i put green , girl , black and green hair , superhero. After putting those words in i got a girl with green eyes , black and some green strip girl and it bad zombie skin . After getting our picture we had to make something like a id card for our monster. That what i’m going to show you today. I really hope that you guys enjoy it.

In week 8 hay park school did art for two day straight! Our class room eight art projects was about trying to recreate a ai painting . My teacher found a app that would generate picture from words. Before we started we talked about what is wrong ai. I said that ai is taking over jobs since ai is being used in health systems and how there self driving cars now. Another person said that ai is making people lazy . After our talk we started generating our photos. In the box i typed in Mountains , black , gloomy and raining. The photo was mountains and some lands in if you see closely there a streams. After getting out our picture we did a sketch so we wouldn’t make a mistake on real paper. After practising we got our real that when i got really stressed because we were only allowed one paper . After 15 minutes i was finished with my real paper because i was debating on keeping the stream or not . But by the time I was finished drawing it was time to pack up . So the next day i got to start painting. I did alot of blending for the mountains since theres alot of shades on the mountains in the picture. In the picture there was a small lake but i decided to make the stream bigger because the stream was so small that if i had not looked closely to the picture i wouldn’t have noticed it , so i was debating on to keep the stream or not . But in the end i decided and i painted it, the colour i use is blue-ish green-ish teal colour but i noticed when it tried it was very uneven so i re painted it in the end it became even and ok expect its kinda the same colour of the grass. For the mountains i mixed black and a little white so it could be a dark grey, i used this colour for the base and then i use this light grey for the top i blended the two colour at first the blending was not ok but at the end i learnt the technique! For i was gonna leave it blank but then i decided to do a sunset , for the colour i use red , orange and yellow but you can’t really see the red that much. For the grass i use this olive colour and green . The only thing i couldn’t do was the clouds because i had to use a sponge and i didn’t have time to do it .

Welcome back to another blog post. Today room 8 and room 9 did cybersmart ! Today we started a new topic. Our new topic was about smart searching! In the middle of term we are gonna make a presentation about a topic and use what we have learnt to gather information. For today cybersmart we learnt if little letters matter in sentences , if spelling was important in searching something up , if the order of the words matters, capital letters matter and Punctuation matter . In the end we found out that little letters and capital letters don’t really matter when searching something up but spelling , order of words and Punctuation matters when searching something up on google.
Our first activity was to search up certain things that were similar in example blue sky and sky blue. We searched up blue sky and screen shot the results then added the screen shot into a google slide under the word blue sky and then we searched up sky blue then screen shot the results from google then we added the screen shot under the word sky blue. Both of the result were different even though they had the same words that when we found out that order of words matter. Then we did some other example with searching things up.
I really enjoyed today , it was very fun!

On Tuesday all the ako hiko students went to toolkits. Since its orange level we had to do toolkits on google meet. I was also i presenter with Salote and Khadeeja. Our toolkit was about how to make a minecarft house. Our group loved and I loved presenting. I have made some slide so you can see my creation ans some other things.
